Hursan continues to support young talents in Turkey’s aviation field! The Aviation Club of Fahreddin Kerim Gökay Anatolian High School, which we proudly sponsor, will represent our country in the Student Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS) 2025 competition to be held in the United States. Before this special journey, we hosted our young team at our headquarters and organized a farewell dinner in their honor.
What is SUAS?
SUAS, short for Student Unmanned Aerial Systems, is a prestigious competition held annually in the United States, where students from around the world compete in the field of unmanned aerial systems (UAS). Teams are evaluated in various areas, including design, software, flight performance, and mission planning. SUAS offers a global platform where young engineers can showcase both their technical knowledge and teamwork skills.
The First High School Team to Represent Turkey at SUAS
The Aviation Club of Fahreddin Kerim Gökay Anatolian High School is on the verge of making history as the first Turkish high school team to participate in SUAS. Team captain Mert Tayfur shared the challenges they faced during the preparation process and the valuable experiences they gained.
