INFORMATION NOTICE FOR CUSTOMERS
WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE LAW NO. 6698 ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
IDENTITY OF THE DATA CONTROLLER
The data controller is “HURSAN PASLANMAZ ÇELİK GERİ DÖNÜŞ TES.TİC.VE SAN.AŞ.” (shortly referred to as “HURSAN”). With this information notice, HURSAN fulfills its obligation to inform “customers” in accordance with Article 10 of Law No. 6698.
DEFINITIONS
- Identity: Refers to name, surname, and ID number.
- Contact: Refers to the phone number, email, and physical address voluntarily provided by the customer.
- Physical Space Security: Refers to entry and exit records and camera recordings at the workplace.
- Visual and Audio Records: Includes photographs and call center audio recordings, etc.
- Law: Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data.
- Processing of Personal Data: Refers to all kinds of actions performed on data, such as obtaining, recording, storing, maintaining, modifying, reorganizing, disclosing, transferring, taking over, making available, classifying, or preventing the use of personal data, wholly or partly by automatic or non-automatic means as part of any data recording system.
- Customer Transaction: Refers to invoice, order information, bank account details, requests, complaints, suggestions, and similar information.
- Legal Transaction: Refers to information in correspondence with judicial authorities, case file details, and similar information.
- Policy: Refers to the Policy for the Processing, Protection, Retention, and Disposal of Personal Data.
- Data Controller: Refers to the entity that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for the establishment and management of the data recording system.
WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS
We process personal data of individual customers conducting commercial activities with our workplace, including identity information, contact information (phone, address, email), physical space security data, visual and audio recordings, customer, and legal transaction data, as required by the business.
METHOD AND LEGAL BASIS OF DATA COLLECTION
Your personal data is collected via written or electronic application forms, contracts, visual and audio recordings, information systems, and electronic devices, customer request and transaction documents, other documents provided by the individual, our website, phone, automatic calling machines, smart voice recording systems, email, and SMS systems.
Your personal data is processed based on the legal reasons for conducting commercial activities, fulfilling contracts, granting and protecting rights, and delivering products or services (including consumer rights), in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698 and relevant legislation such as financial, Turkish trade, and Turkish obligations law.
PURPOSES FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data may be processed by our company in compliance with the conditions for processing personal data in the Law and relevant legislation, for the following purposes:

Your personal data will be deleted or destroyed upon the complete cessation of these purposes, either automatically or upon your request. In any case, the retention period for personal data will not be shorter than the maximum periods stipulated in relevant legislation.
TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
Personal data cannot be transferred without the explicit consent of the data subject. Without prejudice to provisions in other laws regarding the transfer of personal data, personal data may be transferred within the scope of Articles 8 and 9 of the Law and Section 6 of the Policy. It may be shared within the country and/or abroad with authorized public institutions and organizations, professional advisors, certified public accountants, auditors, authorized lawyers, IT and archiving service providers, banks, shareholders, or other relevant private individuals/entities for commercial activities and legal obligations.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT / RELEVANT PERSON
According to Article 11 of the Law, individuals have the following rights regarding their personal data processed by “HURSAN”:
a) To learn whether personal data is processed or not,
b) To request information if personal data has been processed,
c) To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,
ç) To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
d) To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
e) To request deletion or destruction of personal data in accordance with Article 7 of the Law,
f) To request notification of correction or deletion to third parties to whom the data was transferred,
g) To object to the emergence of a result against them through the analysis of processed data solely by automated systems,
ğ) To demand compensation for damages incurred due to unlawful processing of personal data.
For matters regarding the processing of personal data, you may complete the “Personal Data Request Form” available on the company’s website and submit it using one of the methods mentioned, along with proof of identity. Requests will be processed within 30 days based on their content.
